Powers Up, ECG Works Great.
The System 97e is a helium charged, mobile, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP). The System consists of a single console unit with a detachable monitor module and a detachable battery pack.
The System's display and main control panel are integrated together into a lightweight, detachable monitor module. The module interconnects to the console via a coiled cord. At the user's discretion, the module can be placed anywhere within 8 feet of the console. Alternatively, the monitor module can be placed in it's articulated mount on the transport cart.
Balloon inflation/deflation is automatically timed with minimum adjustments required by the operator in the auto timing mode. The System 97e analyzes cardiac interval patterns, so that irregular rhythms are consistently tracked.
An integrated thermal array printer supplies hard copy printouts of ECG, invasive blood pressure, balloon pressure and trend data along with alpha-numeric printout of lead configuration, scale information, pressure data and heart rate. The recorder is capable of printing up to two traces at the same time.
An ultrasonic doppler is included with the System 97e. The doppler is used to monitor arterial blood flow non-invasively.
